The reaction
When John was finished, Susan looked at him lovingly. She wasn’t angry. She gave him a big hug and then started to smile. “It’s all right, love,” she whispered. “I love you and I forgive you.” Despite her husband cheating, Susan wished him the best. She wanted nothing more than for him to be happy.
The two filed for divorce. John married his true love, the photographer, and Susan soon found love with someone else. They remained very good friends after this. Their marriage may have broken down, but their unconditional friendship remained.
